University of Halabja Hosts Certification Ceremony for the 7th Pedagogy Training Course

​On Thursday, May 7, 2026, the University of Halabja (UoH) held a formal ceremony at the Central Library Hall to celebrate the completion of the 7th Pedagogy Training Course.

​The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Bamo Parwezkhan, President of the University of Halabja; Asst. Prof. Dr. Zhala Saeed Khatat, Director General of the Research and Development Office and Director of Pedagogy Courses at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MHE); alongside members of the University Council, faculty members, and the course graduates.

​In the opening remarks, Asst. Prof. Dr. Halgurd Ali Hama Faraj, Vice President for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, congratulated the participants and emphasized the vital role of pedagogical training in professional academic development. He further reaffirmed the university’s commitment to providing future courses for scholars seeking academic titles.

​Furthermore, Asst. Prof. Dr. Zhala Saeed Khatat delivered a speech highlighting the significance of modern pedagogical approaches and academic innovation. She outlined the Ministry’s strategic plan to enhance educational curricula through specialized training programs. Additionally, Mr. Bawar Mohammed presented a detailed report on the University’s Pedagogy Center, sharing key data and statistics from previous sessions.

​The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates to 35 graduates who successfully fulfilled the requirements of the program. This session marks the seventh successful pedagogy cycle hosted by the University of Halabja.
