University of Halabja Concludes Course on "Human Development and Psychological Support"
Today, Wednesday, August 26, 2026, certificates of participation were awarded to attendees of the "Human Development and Psychological Support" training course at the Psychological and Social Counseling Center at Halabja University.
Following the conclusion of the three-week course—organized by the center for staff across all university directorates, colleges, and departments—certificates were presented in the presence of Prof. Dr. Bamo Parwezkhan, President of Halabja University, several members of the University Council, and Dr. Niyaz Muhammad, Director of the Psychological and Social Counseling Center.
The primary objective of the course was to deepen employees' understanding of the requirements and dynamics of working within an academic institution in a globalized society.
It is worth noting that this center was established by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ranjdar Muhammad Aziz, Vice President of the University for Student Affairs, who provided significant support in launching this training program.
Sustaining such initiatives and expanding the center’s operations will help establish psychological counseling and human development as essential components of Halabja University's broader support system.
