College of Science Conducts Workshop on Uranium Enrichment

This morning, Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at the University's Central Library Hall, the Physics Department of the College of Science held an internal workshop titled "Uranium Enrichment: Between Physics and International Politics."

The event was attended by Dr. Surkew, Dean of the College of Science, along with several faculty members and students. Organized by Asst. Prof. Vian Jamal from the Physics Department, the workshop featured presentations by:

• Asst. Lect. Shalaw Saman Khalid, Faculty Member in the Physics Department.

• Asst. Lect. Bilal Mohammed Osman, Faculty Member in the Physics Department.

The session concluded with an interactive discussion, incorporating the observations and feedback of the attendees.
