University of Halabja Hosts the 10th International Exhibition for Innovation and Inventions

Today, Thursday, July 30, 2026, the Research and Development Center at University of Halabja—in partnership with the College of Health and Medical Technology at Middle Technical University and the Harvest of Light Organization for Educational Development—opened the 10th International Exhibition for Innovation and Inventions.

​The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Bamo Parwezkhan, President of Halabja University; Dr. Adnan Hussein, Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technology at Middle Technical University; Simko Salar, Mayor of Halabja; Dalil Jamal, representative of the Minister of Culture and Youth; Sheikh Tahir Ezaddin, President of the Halabja Chamber of Commerce; alongside a number of lecturers and academic figures.

​The exhibition took place with the participation of scientists, researchers, inventors, innovators, private sector representatives, and academic and government institutions. It aimed to showcase new research, scientific products, and inventions, while strengthening ties between universities, the labor market, and society.

​The ceremony commenced with a minute of silence to honor the martyrs. Speeches were then delivered by Prof. Dr. Bamo Parwezkhan, Dr. Adnan Hussein, Qasim Marsoomi (Secretary-General of the Harvest of Light Foundation), and Prof. Dr. Ali Abdulhussein, emphasizing the importance of innovation, scientific research, and academic partnerships.

​At the conclusion of the ceremony, honorary awards were presented to the President of Halabja University and several participants and supporters, highlighting the significance of fostering innovation and creativity within academic institutions.
